This piece was done by fine  artist and architectural designer Edwin Presswood.  Mr. Presswood possesses a graduate degree from Kansas University's School of Architectural Design.  Edwin Presswood reminds persons that many problems can be solved by simply making a friend.

Kim Cole is co-owner of Blessed Oil on Canvas a company that promotes and distributes her artwork. She is a member of The Light in the Other Room and the Kansas City Artists Coalition. Kim served on the steering committee of The Artists for Life Project. Her poster titled Please Think is a plea to ask the perpetrators of the violence to think about the persons whom they leave behind to grieve.

 

Bonnye Brown served on the steering committee of The Artists for Life Project and was instrumental in the early design of the project. Ms. Brown is the owner and director of the GIFT Art Center which teaches advanced art concepts to students across the Kansas City metroplex.  Ms. Brown's work with children from the urban core of Kansas City gives her first-hand experience with the problems that are faced across the Kansas City area.  Her piece titled Before You Shoot, Think About the Children underscores her efforts towards changing the lives of children across the city.
